Day 1 – Friday, April 13th
You are picked up to begin your adventure to the beautiful Skagit Valley and Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.
We catch the Noon sailing from Sidney to Anacortes, Washington, where we will check into our Hotel, The Islands Inn, before reboarding the Coach and enjoying a delicious salmon BBQ in Mount Vernon. After dinner, it’s back to Anacortes for the night. D
Day 2 - Saturday, April 14th
Today we get into the reason for this trip . TULIPS !
After a delicious continental breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Roozengarde (check out www.tulips.com ). This is the largest tulip business in the world, covering Skagit Valley with more than 1000 acres of field blooms and 16 acres of greenhouses.
We will travel into the quaint town of LaConner for lunch on your own and some time to explore. In the afternoon we’ll visit Tulip Town. (www.tuliptown.com ). Tulip Town with its indoor display garden and walk-in fields features over 60 varieties of tulips. We’ll then journey back to Anacortes, where you will have a chance to enjoy time to explore. Dinner on your own. CB
Day 3 – Sunday, April 15th
Again, continental breakfast at the hotel before checking out and leaving for Mount Vernon, where you will get to participate in the Tulip Festival Street Fair, including live music and a wonderful variety of food and artisans from over 8 states. Over 100 arts and crafts vendors! After lunch we drive to Coupeville, passing the through tulip fields and the magnificent Deception Pass, to catch the ferry enroute to Port Townsend where you will enjoy some free time in the downtown area before spending the night at the Harborside Inn. Day 4 – Monday April 16th
After breakfast today, we check out of the Harborside and will be joined by Joyce Cox, who will join us on the coach for a guided tour of Port Townsend and one of the Heritage homes in town. The City of Dreams, Port Townsend is one of the finest examples of a Victorian Seaport in the United States. Joyce calls this tour “Snooping and Gossiping”, so it sounds like fun. After our tour we travel to Port Angeles for lunch before catching the Coho ferry at 2 PM back to Victoria and Duncan about 5 PM. CB

If you are a Single and would like to share a room, we will try and match you up with another Single.
A 10% deposit ($55.88 Sharing or $70.45 Single) will secure your seat. Final Payment due March 15th, 2012
