Package Details:
Day 1: 1 PM :We will pick you up at your Hotel
or place of residence for a drive over the spectacular Malahat Pass.
Enroute we will stop at Goldstream Provincial Park,
known for it’s old-growth trees and the tens of thousands
of salmon that migrate up the Goldstream
River each fall to spawn.
We will also stop at the Split Rock Viewpoint where
your guide will point out interesting landmarks and you are provided
with the most scenic view of Saanich Peninsula, the Gulf
Islands and the San Juan Islands. Great
opportunity for photos.
Then it’s on through the Cowichan Valley,
past vineyards, grazing cattle and sheep, auto wreckers, (did I
say auto wreckers?) to Chemainus.
Known as “the little town that did©,” this community
has adorned the outside walls of the town with larger than life
depictions of its history and heritage.
3 PM: Your guide will provide you with a guided
tour of the murals and other historic sites. You will still have
plenty of time for shopping in our quaint and varied shops or simply
sit and have an ice cream.
5PM: Check into the Olde Mill House B and B and
arrange breakfast time for following day.
6 PM: Dinner at the Chemainus Theater.
(Always my favorite part)
8 PM: Enjoy the show of the day
10 PM: Back to the B and B for a restful night
or free time.
Day 2: Breakfast at the B and B as arranged on
Day 1, followed by free time to track down those treasures you missed
on day 1.
Noon: Return to Victoria.
