Day 1:
We pick you up at the Victoria Clipper Ferry terminal
in Victoria which is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 AM and drive over
the spectacular Malahat Drive to the quaint oceanside
town of Chemainus, known for the murals painted throughout,
as well as the numerous antique shops and dealers. There are three
malls to visit here as well as a number of private dealers.
You will spend the entire afternoon shopping in Chemainus. You will
check into your accommodation about 5 PM. You may want to attend the
Chemainus Theatre as well. Inquire when booking.
Day 2:
After a delicious breakfast at your B and B, we depart for Ladysmith
to browse through 2 more antique malls, before heading into the
Port City of Nanaimo, which has a number of dealers
all within a city block. We will be in Nanaimo for lunch, before
returning towards Victoria. If time permits, your guide knows of
a few more out-of-the-way spots on the way back. In Victoria, we
visit fantastic Antique Row on Fort Street. There
are more than enough shops here to keep you entertained until your
ferry departs for Seattle at 5 PM.
